The Renewable Energy Association represents renewable energy producers and promotes the use of all forms of renewable energy in the UK. It covers the full spectrum of renewable energy technologies: power, heat, transport and renewable gas. Membership to the association is over 600 companies, making it the largest renewable industry association in the UK.
The REAL Assurance Scheme has been set up by the Renewable Energy Association. It aims to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small generation units for their home, for a community building or for a small business. REAL membership is a sign that we have agreed to abide by the high standards as set out in the scheme’s Consumer Code. The REAL logo is a symbol of professional excellence.
NICEIC is the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body for installation matters throughout the UK. It offers industry-leading certification services, Building Regulation Schemes, and products and support to electrical contractors and other trades within the construction industry. Our membership demonstrates our skills and professionalism, and gives you peace of mind that our products and services are the best in the industry.

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent scheme that certifies microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. It is designed to evaluate products and installers against robust criteria, providing greater protection for consumers. The MCS is the only certification scheme to cover all microgeneration products and services. It has support from the Department of Energy and Climate Change, and industry and non-government groups, as a prime method for making a substantial contribution to reducing the UK’s dependency on fossil fuels and carbon dioxide emissions. Our accreditation demonstrates that we are committed to meeting rigorous standards and that we will install to the highest quality every time. Axios Energy also ensures that all our solar PV and solar thermal installers are accredited by the MCS.

The Solar Trade Association (STA) is the leading voice for the solar industry in the UK. We represent both the solar heating and solar power renewable energy sector groups. It was established in 1978 as a not-for-profit association and we now have over 450 companies ranging from large manufacturers, through to distributers, installers, consultancy firms and training bodies.
